Make no mistake about it: you don't come to Café.com for the food, you come to go online on one of their ten computer workstations connected to the Internet via high-speed DSL connection.
But when your battery starts running low, the sandwiches and salads here will fill you up at a great price.
The menu focuses on quick lunch items, like a chicken Caesar salad, a Greek salad, and big falafel sandwiches. They also serve sandwiches — turkey, pastrami, ham and more — served with chips and fruit, it's a deal at $3.50. A vegetarian plate is Middle Eastern in theme, with falafel and hummus. Beer and wine are also available.
Breakfast pastries and bagels are served in the morning, and you can get cappucinos, smoothies and ice cream, too.
In addition to the computer workstations, which are hooked up printers and a scanner, there are three televisions with satellite hookups. Pricing for the computer workstations is at $7.00/hr. for the first hour, and $5.00 for each additional hour. A minimum use of 10 minutes is required, at $1.25/ 10 minutes.
